ARC Home Stay is one of our accommodation located on Bitabo hill, Nyamitumba, Rugyeyo, Kanungu. It is 60kms from Buhoma, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. It ushers visitors into a lived experience of being from the area. It is a full package with entertainment, dining, and a top-of-the-hill view.
During the stay, the tourists awake to the scenery so breathtaking; the swamps in the valleys, the forests and terraced gardens on the slopes, the winding dirt road below, the cool breeze traversing the hills, eagles, and egrets in the air; goats, cows, sheep plastering the green hills with their spotted skins of white and black and brown; it is a marvel to experience, almost dreamlike for anyone who ordinarily wakes up to the bustle of life in cities, the humid and polluted air, the sight of concrete buildings and traffic jam.
Tourists also have an opportunity to milk cows for a fresh cup of tea or coffee in the morning or evening to combat the cold winds that are characteristic of hills. The home visit is a guaranteed relaxation and fun time.
