Day 1: Nairobi to Samburu

Depart Nairobi early in the morning by road to Samburu National Reserve arriving at the Samburu Sopa Safari Lodge in time for lunch.

After lunch, proceed for an afternoon game drive until sunset in the reserve where the large stock of antelopes attracts many lions and leopards.

The Reticulated Giraffe and Grevy Zebra, rather rare in other parks, are quite common here, as well as the long-necked Gerenuk. Dinner and overnight at the recommended accommodation.

Day 2 of the 8 Days Kenya Safari:  Samburu

Morning game drives with breakfast at the Lodge in search of wildlife and birds in the wild beauty of Samburu land. After lunch at the lodge game drive until sunset in Samburu, Buffalo Springs, and Shaba. Dinner and overnight at your recommended accommodation.

Day 3: Samburu to Aberdares National Park

After breakfast, checkout and head to Aberdare National Park. On arrival, you will have lunch at Outspan hotel, and later in the afternoon transfer to Treetops Lodge.

Aberdare National Park has a diverse topography that includes icy rivers, spectacular waterfalls, and rain forests. The flora and fauna are quite unique and are not found elsewhere in the country, except on Mount Kenya.

Leopard, elephant, serval, waterbuck, reedbuck, dik-dik, Rhino, and the rare bongo can all be found here. You are sure to see elephants, buffalos, and some other animals at the floodlit waterholes of Treetops Lodge. Dinner and Overnight at your recommended accommodation.

Day 4: Aberdares to Lake Nakuru 

After breakfast transfer from Aberdare to Lake Nakuru National Park. Lake Nakuru is world-famous for its stunning flocks of lesser flamingoes which turns its shores pink. Its birdlife is world-renowned.

On arrival in the park, have a game drive en-route to Lake Nakuru Lodge, which is situated in the southeast ecological niche of the Lake Nakuru National Park.

The lodge blends well with its surroundings and the animals often browse peacefully close to the gardens. After lunch at the lodge proceed for the afternoon game drive around the lake until sunset. Dinner and overnight at your recommended accommodation.

Day 5 of the 8 Days Kenya Safari: Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha

Have an early morning game drive in search of leopard and Rhino. Return to the lodge for breakfast. Check-out after breakfast and continue to Lake Naivasha Bird Sanctuary arriving at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge at midday for lunch.

Lake Naivasha is one of the Great Rift Valley’s jewels, its mirror surfaces reflecting the tranquil beauty of the African sky and the surrounding mountains are temporarily distorted as flocks of graceful flamingos and pink-backed pelicans settle on the water.

Relax after lunch at the hotel and have a chance to enjoy the hotel facilities and optional activities on offer. Dinner and overnight at your recommended accommodation.

Day 6: Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara

Day 7 of the 8 Days Kenya Safari: Masai Mara national park
