3 Days Murchison Falls Safari Uganda

DAY 1: DRIVE TO MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK

Our ARC Guide will drive you from Entebbe Airport to Murchison Falls National Park. You will have a visit at the top of the falls, an enthralling experience after the long drive. Feel fresh splashes of water on your face as you watch white rapids force their way through a gorge.

The sound and sight is a gem of a memory to take with you for life. During the short evening game drive to your accommodation you may see Uganda Kobs, warthogs, harte-beests, and baboons.

DAY 2: GAME DRIVE AND VISIT TO THE TOP OF THE FALLS

After breakfast, enjoy a guided game drive around Murchison Falls National Park. Here, four of the big five await as this Park has Lions, Leopards, Elephants and herds of Buffalo.

Also unique to this destination is sight of the resplendent giraffes locking their graceful long necks or eating from trees in the Savannah.

After Lunch the trip gets even more exciting when you take the boat cruise from the landing to the bottom of the falls.

With birds like the world’s largest heron “Goliath Heron”, the Egyptian plover (also called the Crocodile bird because it picks food from the Nile crocodile’s agape mouth), the African fish Eagle (a national bird for Namibia and Zambia), you are guaranteed an epic birding experience as you cruise along the Nile.

Also for your enjoyment during the 3 hour Boat cruise are schools of hippos waddling in water, the Nile crocodiles, and of course the rainbow arch that forms above the waterfalls.

Return to the lodge for wonderful dinner and a peaceful overnight at the safari lodge.

DAY 3: TRANSFER FROM MURCHISON TO ENTEBBE

Take breakfast and head to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, a home to the only wild Rhinos in Uganda. While the white Rhino is an endangered species worldwide, during this 1 hour Rhino Trekking, you have the opportunity to see some of the 22 southern white Rhinos that are resident here. Embark on the journey to Entebbe for your flight and have lunch enroute.
